Common indications:
– open and closed pelvic and sacrum fractures,
– diastasis of the pubic symphysis,
– dislocations and subluxations of a sacroilliac joint
NOTE:
Mitkovic external fixator for pelvis is applied using Schanz pins of 6 mm. Depending on the requirements, Schanz pins of 110-300 mm lengths are available, and custom lengths can be manufactured upon request.
