Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to view the documents.
Common indications:
– shortened bones of forearm (congenital or acquired),
– partial defect of one or both forearm bones.
NOTE:
One fixator is used for one forearm bone.
Mitkovic external fixator for forearm lengthening is applied using Schanz pins of 4 mm. Depending on the requirements, Schanz pins of 110-300 mm lengths are available, and custom lengths can be manufactured upon request.
