Common indications:
– tibial or femoral defect reconstruction,
– lengthening of tibia or femur,
– nonunion, malunion, pseudoarthrosis,
– arthrodesis,
– fractures associated with planned plastic and reconstructive procedures.
NOTE:
Mitkovic reconstructive external fixator for lower limbs is applied using Schanz pins of 6 mm. Depending on the requirements, Schanz pins of 110-300 mm lengths are available, and custom lengths can be manufactured upon request.
